SafetyRespect conference 2021

We have finally been able to conduct our internal development conference at SafetyRespect. It is with great joy and relief for many to finally get to meet for real. We have learned a lot under the restrictions of the Corona period and we are now even better at meeting and working through Teams. But of course it can not be compared to getting to meet for real and in pleasant social contexts with a large group of people.

The goals for our major annual conferences are to develop in our roles, learn more about the market, products and organization, and meet and have fun together. We have received very good feedback and many are very satisfied with the conference as a whole. A big thank you for everyone’s participation and a special thank you to the Stockholm depot’s fantastic preparations!

SafetyRespect delivers fall protection to giant construction project in LA USA

At the world’s fifth largest airport, Los Angeles International Airport, a new automated people mover is currently being built to transport passengers between the terminals. We at SafetyRespect are proud to be a supplier of fall protection for the project.

More than 61 million people travel to or from Los Angeles International Airport each year, making the airport the world’s fifth largest in terms of passenger numbers. To make it easier for all these passengers to get between the terminals, a 3,5 km long high-speed railway with a total of six stations is currently being built – three within the central terminal area and three outside.

The construction project will run until 2022 and the system will be operational and open to passenger traffic in 2023. They have chosen to use fall protection from SafetyRespect to keep workers safe. Our barriers, posts and brackets have been installed on the parts of the track where the work is currently underway.

SafetyRespect continuously works with development, sustainability, safety and systematics for our customers. We offer a complete solution of fall protection products for all needs around the world. But we also work with continuous improvement of our internal processes throughout the SafetyRespect Group.

SafetyRespect has now decided to take the next step and certify all our subsidiaries according to our three management systems for Quality, Environment and Work Environment: ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. SafetyRespect will change certification body from Swedish Certification to TÜV, starting 2021-02-01.

SafetyRespect works closely with construction companies around the world to deliver the necessary safety solutions for all unprotected edges and interior voids. We develop patented products for all edge protection situations that may occur during planning, pre-construction, or out of the ground. At SafetyRespect our objective is that workers should feel safe on the job site and be able to focus on the task at hand.

We usually work with short development times from the idea to the finished product. Our product council involves people from different positions within our organisation. We are thus able to ensure that the solutions we develop are relevant to the market and that all interested parties are able to have their say.

After a feasibility study, a number of prototypes are developed for testing and evaluation before a final design is produced and preparations for production take place. We often allow a zero batch series to be used on a pilot project to get real feedback from the users before a product is officially launched.
