Safety training for Work restraint is a course designed specifically for those working on the external or leading edge of structures.
Delegates attending this course will need experience of working at height wearing a safety harness. This course will benefit those installing facades or curtain-walling from inside structures. We aim to communicate a good understanding of the principles for using Personal Fall Protection Equipment in line with the Code of practice for selection, use and maintenance of personal fall protection systems (BS8437: 2005).
TRAINING ENVIRONMENT
The full course can be conducted in a safe site zone with temporary edge protection in place. This area should be large enough for all attendees and trainer to maintain social distancing. If the Edge Protection has to be removed for access to façade brackets we will ask for a person with supervisory responsibility to manage this exposed opening.
