Adjustable work positioning lanyard

Adjustable work positioning lanyard for personal fall protection uk

An adjustable work positioning lanyard is a personal safety component that is used in a temporary work restraint system to connect the user’s safety harness to an anchorage point. The anchorage point may be at a fixed point allowing the user only linear movement, or connected to a horizontal lifeline system that allows a far greater level of movement.

Adjustable work positioning lanyards are also known as rope and grab lanyards, because adjustment along its length is made using a handheld locking grab device. That makes this component easier to adjust, which is important during work restraint operations.

Scissorsafe adjustable work positioning lanyards are manufactured from durable 12 mm kernmantle rope and fitted with a 35 kN rated carabiner at the anchorage connection point. This reduces wear on the horizontal lifeline due to its wide shape. An auto-locking oval karabiner at the harness connection point removes the necessity to manually screw the karabiner gate closed when connecting.

Adjustable work positioning lanyards are manufactured for SafetyRespect Ltd. and carry a Declaration of Conformity to EN358.

Adjustable clamp 550 for temporary edge protection on concrete wall at construction site UK

Precast concrete walls and beams

Adjustable clamp 550 for temporary edge protection on concrete wall at construction site UK

Pre-casting concrete elements allows for inclusion of cast-in components to support the temporary edge protection system needed to erect the structure. If edge protection is needed in wall or beam elements, cast-in anchors can be inserted into the formwork. If the attachment point is on the side of the sections, our Vertical bracket (product code 912118) can be installed. If it’s on top of the sections our Post foot (product code 912105) can be used instead as a bracket for posts and steel mesh barriers.

Socket with Rebar 400 mm is an expendable socket that is embedded into slabs or beams with a minimum depth of 500 mm. The Post socket sits flush with the top of the concrete and it is supplied with a protective plastic cap to prevent concrete ingress.

If anchoring is to be avoided, Adjustable clamp 300 or 550 can be installed on site before the units are lifted into position.

SafetyRespect offer technical support and will provide detailed information to your specific criteria.

Adjustable link bars

Adjustable link bars

Adjustable link bars

Adjustable link bars are used as collective fall protection for concrete stairs, shafts, openings etc on construction sites. They are a multi-function telescopic component that connects to SR System Posts or Wall brackets, to form horizontal guardrails for flat slabs, door and window openings, or as temporary handrails fixed to concrete stairs.

The connection brackets are built with a swivel function to allow for slab deviations and to allow them to align when used diagonally. A tightening screw locks the rails when adjusted to length.

On door and window openings Wall brackets are installed on each side of the opening as a bracket for attaching the Adjustable link bars. The Adjustable link bars are available in four different sizes from 0,6 metres up to 3,5 metres. This solution makes it easy to remove and put back the edge protection when various types of work is to be carried out, and it also leaves space for different types of lead-throughs.

• Easily adjustable.
• Swivel brackets.
• Hot dip galvanized.
• Delivered in stacking stillage.
• Weight 3,0 kg, 4,3 kg, 6,2 kg, 9,0 kg.

Stairway 700

Stariway 700 is an adjustable site stair that provide safe temporary access for movement around construction sites during work. It is available in six lengths and can be easily connected together when longer lengths are required. Stariway 700 is extremely versatile delivering safe site movement onto temporary works structures, between floor levels or to access and egress excavations and embankments.

Adjustable site stairs are folded flat for transport and storage, and assembly is easy and fast for two people, even when connecting stair units together. They are delivered with two handrails, which automatically adjust to the inclination of the stairway angle between 30° and 55°. The steps always remain horizontal, whatever angle is achieved.

Adjustable site stairs are available in six lengths which can be easily connected together when longer lengths are required, offering heights of up to 4,75 m from a single stairway. These are manufactured in two standard widths, 700 mm and 1000 mm. Adjustable site stair 700 has an overall width of 800 mm with an effective access width of 700 mm. Adjustable site stair 1000 has an overall width of 1100 mm with an effective access width of 1000 mm.

Manufactured from galvanized steel sections with steps using anti-slip expanded metal to reduce the possibility of falling and having the added benefit of removing dirt from boots. Four stairway feet ensure high stability.

Adjustable site stairs satisfy the access requirements of European Standard EN 12811.
