Deadweight man anchor

deadweight man anchor for personal fall protection during construction of buildings, houses, bridges etc

Site ready deadweight man anchor is a pre-assembled portable anchorage device for work restraint for locations where anchorage cannot be arranged using drilled or clamped anchor devices.

Deadweight man anchors are generally used on non-penetrative surfaces i.e., industrial roofs, but are also useful for installing temporary edge protection on bridges and infrastructure projects. They are equally effective when used as a single user anchor device or when used at each end of a temporary horizontal lifeline where two simultaneous users can operate in work restraint.

This deadweight man anchor is supplied with a rubber friction mat and lifting sling. It can be delivered pre-assembled, just lift into position and clip-on. Alternatively it can be delivered in component parts for site assembly.

• Tested and CE Approved to EN795:2012 Type E.
• Suitable for 2 users in fall restraint or 1 in fall arrest.
• Usable on areas of a maximum 5° pitch.

An anchor point for rolling threaded rods or anchors offers numerous application possibilities. When mounted, the distance between the punched angle steel and the slab edge is 50 mm.
