TrailerSafe Compact – Fall protection for loading and unloading trucks and trailers
Fall protection for loading and unloading trucks and trailers

Trailer Safe Compact is our portable fall arrest system protecting anyone that has to climb onto a flatbed trailer or truck to load or unload the equipment or materials it is carrying. Trailersafe Compact is particularly suitable for loading or unloading modular structures, precast concrete, steel sections, formwork equipment, scaffolding, temporary accommodation, machinery. Consisting of only three principal components such as adjustable base console, ballast blocks and fall arrest davitt that are easily erected using a forklift truck or a crane. A sling is supplied for lifting the mast and davitt onto the base console. Twin units are generally used to provide overhead anchorage coverage for an articulated truck trailer 13,6 metres in length, then placed 6 metres apart.

Stairway 700

Stariway 700 is an adjustable site stair that provide safe temporary access for movement around construction sites during work. It is available in six lengths and can be easily connected together when longer lengths are required. Stariway 700 is extremely versatile delivering safe site movement onto temporary works structures, between floor levels or to access and egress excavations and embankments.

Adjustable site stairs are folded flat for transport and storage, and assembly is easy and fast for two people, even when connecting stair units together. They are delivered with two handrails, which automatically adjust to the inclination of the stairway angle between 30° and 55°. The steps always remain horizontal, whatever angle is achieved.

Adjustable site stairs are available in six lengths which can be easily connected together when longer lengths are required, offering heights of up to 4,75 m from a single stairway. These are manufactured in two standard widths, 700 mm and 1000 mm. Adjustable site stair 700 has an overall width of 800 mm with an effective access width of 700 mm. Adjustable site stair 1000 has an overall width of 1100 mm with an effective access width of 1000 mm.

Manufactured from galvanized steel sections with steps using anti-slip expanded metal to reduce the possibility of falling and having the added benefit of removing dirt from boots. Four stairway feet ensure high stability.

Adjustable site stairs satisfy the access requirements of European Standard EN 12811.

protective sleeve for precast socket temporary edge protection concrete constructions

Protective sleeve for Precast socket

protective sleeve for precast socket temporary edge protection concrete constructions

The Protective sleeve is designed for the Precast socket, that are used to provide a cast-in base fixing for temporary edge protection. The Omnia slab is a reinforced precast concrete slab which incorporates a lattice girder to provide stiffness and facilitate the placement of the top mesh. The lattice girder provides rigidity to the slab when in-situ concrete is poured onto it.

Casting the base fixing into the lower slab portion means that temporary edge protection can be installed onto the slab before it is lifted into position which allows rebar installation and concrete placing onto the slabs within a collectively protected work area.

Precast sockets are fixed to rebar before the lower portion concrete is cast. A cut length of Protective sleeve (product code 911107) is inserted onto the Precast socket which forms a 50 mm diameter hole around the Post and allows extraction when temporary edge protection is no longer required.

They straddle the beams with a bolt lock underneath to clamp onto its top section. The Post 1,3 m is inserted into the Timber beam bracket. Built with a post lock inside the post holder to prevent uplift or accidental uplift which makes it suitable for using on table formwork.

Available in two lengths (primary and secondary) to ensure that the edge protection barriers are set at the correct height. Compatible with most systems including Doka and Peri.

• Integrated post lock.
• Hot dip galvanized.
• Quick screw lock.
• Weight 4,0 kg, 2,3 kg.

Fall protection construction project LAX USA

SafetyRespect delivers fall protection to giant construction project in LA USA

Fall protection construction project LAX USA
At the world’s fifth largest airport, Los Angeles International Airport, a new automated people mover is currently being built to transport passengers between the terminals. We at SafetyRespect are proud to be a supplier of fall protection for the project.

More than 61 million people travel to or from Los Angeles International Airport each year, making the airport the world’s fifth largest in terms of passenger numbers. To make it easier for all these passengers to get between the terminals, a 3,5 km long high-speed railway with a total of six stations is currently being built – three within the central terminal area and three outside.

The construction project will run until 2022 and the system will be operational and open to passenger traffic in 2023. They have chosen to use fall protection from SafetyRespect to keep workers safe. Our barriers, posts and brackets have been installed on the parts of the track where the work is currently underway.
