SAFETY CRITICAL TRAINING FOR WORKING AT HEIGHT
There isn’t a one-size fits all solution for keeping construction workers safe from falls from height. Therefore we offer four training courses designed for two distinct groups, Concrete frame contractors and Facade Installers, described as follows.
MODULE 1 – WORK RESTRAINT TRAINING FOR FACADE INSTALLERS
This site based training course delivers Safety training for Work restraint & Temporary edge protection for those working on the external perimeter or leading edges of structures. Trainees attending this course should have experience of working at height wearing a safety harness and lanyard. We aim to communicate a good understanding of working whilst using Personal fall protection equipment in line with the code of practice for the selection, use and maintenance of personal fall protection systems BS8437:2005.
MODULE 2 – RESCUE TRAINING FOR FACADE INSTALLERS
This Rescue Training course provides practical knowledge to those who could be needed to rescue a fallen colleague whilst attached to a Work Restraint or Fall Arrest system, using techniques and rescue equipment to retrieve the faller by raising or lowering from an area of built concrete deck with anchor points cast or drilled into the structure, specifically for those involved with facade, SFS and Curtain-wall installers.
MODULE 3 – HEIGHT & RESCUE TRAINING FOR CONCRETE FRAME
Safety training for the correct installation and removal of Temporary edge protection systems for those working on the external perimeter or leading edges of built structures or temporary works structures including horizontal formwork.
Decking formwork training geared towards the implemented method of work, which might be by using a temporary work restraint system comprising slings, horizontal lifelines and adjustable lanyards or Fall Arrest using Alsipercha’s as the anchor point.
MODULE 4 – TEMPORARY EDGE PROTECTION SYSTEMS TRAINING
Safety training for the correct installation, adaption and removal of Temporary edge protection systems for those working on the external perimeter or leading edges of built structures or temporary works structures including horizontal formwork.
